Project Linus Welcomes You!!!

Rio Norte Project Linus club conducted their first meeting of this school year today at lunch. If you missed it, we will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month in room C-3. There is a huge fundraiser being held at our Westfield Town Center Mall this Friday, August 23rd from 3:00 until closing. Several restaurants have agreed to donate a percentage of the bill to our local Project Linus Chapter. These funds will help us purchase materials and supplies so our students can make blankets with spending a lot of their own money. We are also working closely with the Senior Center, getting them some needed supplies so they can make Project Linus blankets too. See this attached flyer - print it out, bring it with you and feel good about working with such a worthy cause. Also, stop by the Project Linus table, which should be near the food court entrance, near Cinnabon, to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win 2 Disneyland Park Hopper tickets!!!
